Did the backend changes make the forum snappier? [I'm a dork]

Since the forum got back up, things feel snappier. Is this right?

There was no backend changes. Just a server crash... You are probably just noticing the reduced number of users at the moment.

Yes, it does feel a lot snappier, hope it stays that way if its not got to do with the reduced number of users.
