texlive2k8 -- where has lambda gone?!

hi Arch-TeXies!

agh, as the topic says, i just wonder where lambda(/omega and/or antomega) disappeared (the functionality, not the .sty!)~ I need it urgently to work with the hlatex-macros on my utf8-system -- as it did with TL2k7 ...and there are still files left compiled with it~

And I haven't clearly figured out yet, if this(/these) package(s) were declared obsolete and therefore won't be included anymore; e.g. it's not mentioned here, but "not applicable" here. So if i'm not just stupid and couldn't find the stuff within the pkg'es, what am i supposed to do...?
