mpd 0.14 alpha1 released...

...this marks the 1st release under the control of Cirrus, who optimised mpd's codebase greatly and already added one or the other nice feature (e.g. shoutcast support including tags)

Being an alpha, the mpd bugtracker (http://www.musicpd.org/mantis/) waits for your complaints, so we can await final 0.14 soon.

A little motivation: After 0.14 Cirrus will start to implemnt new features like the long needed custom tag support (which e.g. allows you to use %albumartist% or whatever obscure tags your files may contain - even %rating% is possible this way) - so grab your copy (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/musicp … a1.tar.bz2) and start hunting for bugs.
