Weird multimedia keys problem

I'm having a strange problem with multimedia keys...

Two of the keys on my HP Pavilion dv9700 don't work... Under xev they return absolutely nothing... Yet if I run showkey, it returns a keycode for each of the two keys.

How do I go about binding these keys so I can use them under KDE?
