Hi. I have three computer two of them are Linux (Ubuntu and Arch) and one Vista x64 Ultimate. Is there a way to share files between all computer with read and write access. So I would be on either Linux computer and access the Windows one and vice versa. Also if my Windows computer is hooked up to the network is there a way to make it not connect to the internet but still be on my Local Area Network. I an using a Wireless Router for all my networking also.

For Windows <-> Linux network file sharing see: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba
The second thing would require some kind of access restrictions in your router.
I haven't lost my mind; I have a tape back-up somewhere.

Does anyone know of something internally in WIndow to deny Web Access. Also if I was going to do this Access Restriction what would be the best way to do it?

You could configure the windows firewall to deny outbound port 80 and 443? (I don't have experience with it tho), or just not configure a gateway address. Does your router have any security features built in?

1. samba
2. use static ip, and leave the gateway blank, or if the router supports it, block it in the router.

A Linksys router with the factory firmware will allow you to block internet access by MAC address (you can also setup day/time usage policies if you want to restrict instead of totally block) if you want to use DHCP instead of static ips
