lavirinto3d

Hi,
I just finished my second game lavirinto3d (first one is lavirinto).
This is java-openGL (lwjgl) game.

Here is the web site:
http://lavirinto3d.sourceforge.net/

And here is a review:
http://freegamer.blogspot.com/2008/10/l … nanno.html

Please, feel free to try it. It's free (GPLv3) :-)

Wow. Congrats! That game looks like it took you an awful amount of time (Well, if you liked making it, I don't think you would have minded how long it took anyway). How long did it take?

Re: lavirinto3d

wow, nice game:) It sure looks like a lot of work!
Is it possible to go to the main menu from a level? Or to save your progress? (i was game over when i felt i was pretty far:P
The (moving) backgrounds are also nice. Is it possible to use them as background in openbox for example?

Re: lavirinto3d

@molom
Year ago a started with lavirinto - 2d version (www.zchira.110mb.com).
In February, I started with 3d version.
Of course, this is a free time project. I have a regular job, this is my hobby :-)

@lldmer
Currently, it is not possible to return to main menu from game nor to save the progress, but it will be in some of the future versions.
About backgrounds: I am author of most of the backgrounds and all of them are also under the GPL license. So, you can use them.
Just rename 'jar' to 'rar' and you will find them in res/levelpacks/campaign or res/levelpacks/tutorial etc....
All of them are 1024x1024 jpg or png images.

PKGBUILD anyone?

@zchira
ok, nice:)
I'll give the 2d version a go too:)

@Rasi
you don't have to install the game to play, just download and run. But if you want you can still make a pkgbuild:P

Re: lavirinto3d

Strange, the game starts but doesn't receive keyboard input for me. Console doesn't produce any errors either. Music was decent though, lol.
