Re: Updates error

Hi IzMbit, welcome to Arch!

Does this solve the problem?: http://www.archlinux.org/news/411/

If not, please provide more information (e.g. the exact errors).

Here's the roadmap: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginner%27s_Guide

Is that what you're using?

I don't recognize those errors (someone else will though), but because you were trying to install Gnome in your first post I have to ask if you're running Gnome and trying to start Openbox from within the Gnome DE. If you're trying to replace metacity (Gnome's window manager) with openbox while still using the Gnome environment, read this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ope … with_GNOME

If you just want to use Openbox and build your own DE (which is really just a collection of apps), follow the full openbox instructions from the top of that last link.

If that doesn't solve the issue, you'll have to wait for someone else to reply.
