Hi,
My Broadcom BCM5906M Ethernet is not working. Does anybody have the same problem? It always worked, but today i figured out that it does not works anymore. I did not used it since 5 days ago, so the problem started recentely.
I can see a eth0 interface, and i can get a IP using dhcp. The problem is that all packets sent are lost. Also, i tried in differents places (home, work, university). I tried with another laptop and i can confirm that the network and cable i used are working.
The tg3 module is up.
lsmod | grep tg3
tg3 121604 0
libphy 18048 1 tg3
Dmesg:
tg3: eth0: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex.
tg3: eth0: Flow control is on for TX and on for RX.

don't know if the bug is fixed but you can try it
http://lwn.net/Articles/304724/
do sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_timestamps=0
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
