Remaster Puppy Linux...

The problem with Puppy Linux is that you can't uninstall programs. There are even apps that let you think that you uninstalled an app, but really you just hide the app: it's still on your disk.

But let's say I "uninstall" an app with one of these tools and then use the Puppy remaster script. Will my new Puppy be smaller than the original?

I'm asking here, because I don't feel like registering on another forum.

Uhhh.... why don't you just try it yourself and compare iso sizes?

And what about Puppy Unleashed? If I remember correctly, it's a giant collection of Puppy packages that allows you to pick and choose which one you want in a remastered version.

Re: Remaster Puppy Linux...

Puppy Unleashed is great. That exactly what I was looking for.

I didn't want to just jump in and see if it worked because I didn't want to waste a CD for nothing.
