Kernel Panic after replacing RAM with new one

Hi!
I replaced my old RAM (2x2GB) in warranty service with new Kingston 2x2GB sticks. Memtest goes fine: 100% and no errors. However, I am unable to boot archlinux. It fails on kernel loading or right after (init segfaults). Windows can't boot either, it just hangs. What is more, when I leave my laptop for a longer time, I can boot both systems successfully. But then I stress RAM for a while with memtest and again after restart I get only kernel panics.

What is wrong?

Re: Kernel Panic after replacing RAM with new one

Have you messed with the bios settings for your memory? Since this isn't just centralized to arch linux, I am willing to bet it's a hardware issue with the new memory. You might wanna try google and just search for anything relevant to your laptop and memory you are trying to use. See if anyone else if having or had issues with any sort of memory with that hardware.

even better, remove one of the sticks and try different slots out on the board. It might point right to the offending hardware.
