Hidden Wavelan plugin on Xfce. How do I get rid of it?[solved]

I made a mistake and selected the "autohide when no hardware present" on the wavelan plugin for Xfce.  Problem is that it is also set to monitor hardware that I don't have so it never shows its self.   Sence it is hidden I can't reconfig it or remove it.

I know its still there because it is visiable for an instant when the system first boots but then hides its self.

Not an xfce user anymore, but AFAIR you can edit the plugin's conf in .config/xfce4/panel/ .

Thanks Tomk,

I tried edition the .rc for wavelan to make it not hidden,  Also tried editing panels.xml to just delete it from the panle.

In both cases these filese revert to there previous state when X is restarted.

Dose give me some Ideas of what I am looking for.  Will keep digging.

Thanks Again

Got it.
Can't edit those files when the panle is running.

Had to drop from X and edit from the command line.  Then the change sticks.   Thanks again to Tomk for getting me started down the right road.
