Running MC as root - message "cannot build th master side of pty arch"

I decided to rebuild the system from scratch.

Installed Arch from 2008.06 ISO - the usual way.

Whenever I run MC now as a root, I get this interesting message "cannot build master side of pty arch"
It does not appear if I run the Midnight Commander as a normal user.

Do you know the reason?

What does:

# grep devpts /etc/fstab

say?

Ah!!!!

I commented the line with /dev/pts thinking that it will stop messages about "mount point 0 does not exist" during the boot up.

But this apparently was wrong.

Thank you for the hint

Arch is the best distro out there in my mind.

I've learned more in my 4 weeks with Arch than in those 3 years with Ubuntu. But there is so much more!!!
