acpid and why its bothering me?

Hello, I got Nvidia Geforce 6600 AGP video card, and recently I noticed that Xorg got some warning about ACPID:

(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (No such file or directory)

Should I worry about it?

No -- it's just a warning.  But if you want to get rid of you have two options:

1. Install acpid and add it to the daemons array in rc.conf
2. add something like this to the devise section of your xorg.conf:

  Option      "ConnectToAcpid"            "false"

Oh thanks! I was worried since as far as I remember ACPI connected somehow with power management.
