suggestion: pacman show print more information
Hi, guys,
I have used aptitude, and feel it convenient for use. When I search a package, it prints out all matched packages, and also the installation status. So why not pacman does so?

Check out pacsearch in the pacman-contrib package.

I have tried pacsearch, but it just prints the results in color, no installation information.

Sure it does.... The *** at the start of the search result indicates that the package is installed.
