Oops, sorry)

I don't think it has been officially released upstream yet. You would be better to ask there.

I believe Novell, Red Hat, and the Ubuntu guys are running the svn. Network Manager 0.7 is currenty in RC 2 right now. It should be hitting the Arch repo when it gets released

It is in [testing] now

Oh my, I'm definitely gonna try this one out

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

Does anyone know when the x86_64 packages will be added to testing?

Does it have a command-line interface?

That would be cool! I'd say if they have at least any clue as to what they're doing - they'll throw in a command-line interface

You can write your own with dbus-python, even as a plasmoid/gdesklet/whatever

Is there any QT4 (or QT3 at least) based frontend to NM-0.7 available?

knetworkmanager can be used on KDE4 (It will not work with the networkmanager 0.7). AFAIK in KDE 4.2 there should be plasma-something for solid/networkmanager.

There is a command line interface for it. It's not in our official repos, but someone did put a PKBUILD in the AUR for it.
I've installed it, but havn't had time to mess with it. If it works, the command line will save my lazy but sometime.

It seems backwards that you would have to write a command line interface after the fact for something on Linux.

it appears it is finally released the 0.7 version,

The latest version (0.7.1) of NetworkManager has been out for a few weeks now.
Any ideias when the package will get updated?
There's at least one issue that should be solved with the new version.
Thanks,

If you can't wait use ABS to bump version number in pkgbuild. It should work fine (I've tested devel snapshots of 7.0.1 before and it worked).
