WMII crashes X when invoking slock?

Here's a weird one... I set up WMII with an action to lock the screen by invoking slock, and when I use that action, it crashes X - X just conks right out, and WMII prints something about a broken pipe and being unable to mount something. But if I invoke slock using dmenu (alt+p), nothing bad happens... And WMII invoking other applications (like dmenu) directly doesn't seem to cause problems. Can anyone confirm this? Are there options I can pass to slock or WMII to prevent this from happening?

Nope. It works just fine for me...

    Key Control-Mod1-Delete
        slock

I'm using an action menu entry though:

Action lock
     wmiir xwrite /ctl exec "slock"

Is there anything wrong with that entry?

Update: yes, there is something wrong with it... apparently executing external things with wmiir xwrite /ctl exec crashes WMII on x86_64. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
