alsa adn intel8x0 doesn't work at all

Hi I'm archlinux user for several years. I am always uptodate but last time arch is somehow unstable.
Alsaconf recognizes sound card as it should be and then there is message before ending of this utility that soundcard is not detected, also there are error mesagges trying to run alsamixer "no sound card found" or similar I don't know how to troubleshoot this problem. Any solution? Thanks in advance!
