I'm not able to reboot my computer by using system->shutdown->restart in gnome. My computer ends up at a black screen with a blinking underscore in the left upper corner. Plain shutdown works fine from the menu, and running sudo reboot -n from a terminal works correctly. I am a member of the power group. It's not terribly inconvenient to reboot from a terminal, it's just strange that the gnome menu option isn't working. I've searched around other forums for people with the same problem but no solution yet. Any ideas?
