My Plan

Hey, I plan to install archlinux on a 16GB USB stick, and run it along with Windows Vista. Is this possible?

If it can boot, then yes. You probably want to read some of the hints in the EEE PC thread (I think I saw something about minimizing the amount of writes done to the filesystem... and you want that on a USB stick!)

Thanks, I will buy the USB stick at work tommorow. I am also looking to buy an MP3 player; any suggestions.

The Nokia N810 and the Archos line are nice. Perhaps the Creative and Sansas, too.
