Installing Arch on Fake-Raid with Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H

Hello,

I bought new computer with, Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H, motherboard and I did Bios-Raid. It is RAID 0 and Windows works perfectly but I can't install linux. I used this article, http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … _Fake-RAID. On old computer dmraid works perfectly but on new one when I'm doing 'dmraid -ay' there is a message, No Raid, or something like that.

What I drivers I need to modprobe? Before I just did, modprobe dm_mod sata_nv, and it works. Now I got 780G chipset and I can't find what drivers should work with them. Sorry for my poor english.

Thanks,
Gaim/Mazur

the sata_nv module will not work with your motherboard, as nv is the nvidia sata drivers.  I think you need to use the sata_promise, but I could be wrong on that one.
