I have QuodLibet 2.0-3, starting it gives an error message:

How can i fix it?

If /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pygst.pyc exists on your system, delete it.

Thanks, but unfortunately it's not present.

Actually looking at the error message in more detail.... it appears something in your library has become corrupt or has a bad UTF8 character. Try deleting/moving your library (don't know the file off-hand) and regenerating it. If that does not work, regenerate part at a time until you find the offending file.

Seems like Quodlibet from extra has a problem on my system... I have removed it, now the package from the official site works without any problem.
Thanks for the ideas!
