When I ran pacman -Syu today I got:
error: cannot resolve "xulrunner=1.9.0.4", a dependency of "firefox"
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
It seems that xulrunner 1.9.0.4 was released for i686 on 11/19, but there has been no 1.9.0.4. for x86_64. Do I need to build this myself? For now I'll just hold off a bit.

Firefox 3.0.4 for x86_64 was uploaded today (2008-11-22); therefore, I assume xulrunner will follow shortly.

I've modified the xulrunner PKGBUILD from /var/abs/extra/xulrunner. Copy those files into a build directory, then change the version to "1.9.0.4" and the first MD5 checksum to the one below:
pkgver=1.9.0.4
md5sums=('8a1ac4a5940108a96458c5307a74c98d'
I can't test it myself because either abs or makepkg is apparently completely borked on my system (as mentioned here).
*EDIT*
I managed to get makepkg working and xulrunner 1.9.0.4 compiled and installed without issue using the aforementioned changes.

Grab all needed files from the i686 extra on-line repo, and build it yourself, until it is up.
That's what I did.
You also need nss to build, before xulrunner.

It's fixed now. Wait for your mirror to sync.

If your mirror hasnt synced, download this ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/extra/os/x86_64 … pkg.tar.gz
And do "pacman -U xulrunner-1.9.0.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz" in the directory you downloaded.
That is what I did.

Judging from the posts, the issue seems to be resolved. However, for those who are interested, I tried Xyne's PKGBUILD and it worked on my system. That was the first time I used ABS to install a package, so I'm glad it worked.

All is well now. I just waited it out! Thanks Archers!
