the artist asked for logos and i gave him the link to archlinux logos

that's pretty good.... although I'm not very graphically oriented, let me critique:

it's a bit cliche... logo in center, some abstract swooshes in the background, gradient coloring....

we need some deviantart pros to make up some wallpapers....

as if the logo being offset in the bottom right hand corner,deviantart wallpapers, are any less cliche?

when you click download, you get a tarball with a SVG, that can be changed in detail --- post your comments @ kde-look.org and the author will maybe agree and change things for you, if you don't want to play with sodipodi or inkscape

I think it has a very clean and "profesional" look to it... would probably use it if Gnome 2.8 allowed me to put freakin wallpapers, or when I go back to KDE

i like it... well... yes i do, but somehow it makes me remember the default kdm background. doesn't it resemble it quite a bit? roll
