Logitech Optical USB Mouse

Hi

I have hp omnibook xt6050 laptop and logitech usb optical mouse. Since today everything worked very well. But when i started my laptop today the mouse cursor was extremly slow when moving mouse. I havn't installed or upgraded any software today and earlier today the mouse cursor moved just fine.

When I try to open KDE -> Control Centerl -> Peripherals -> Mouse
I get error message:

There was an error loading module.
Details
The diagnostics is:
/opt/kde/lib/kde3/kcm_input.so: undefined symbol: XcursorLibraryPath
Possible reasons:
An error occurred during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control module
You have old third party modules lying around.
Check these points carefully and try to remove the module mentioned in the error message. If this fails, consider contacting your distributor or packager.

I compared the messages in /var/log/kernel with messages from last startup (when everything was ok) and there was no significant differences.

Have anyone experienced something similar?
What could be the reason for that?

This very slowly moving mouse cursor is really annoying sad

Re: Logitech Optical USB Mouse

try to force reinstall the kdelibs, or try:

pacman -R kde
pacman -S kde

to totally solve it
