fretsonfire issue

hey guys!
i got fretsonfire mod version from aur and i didnt like so much, so i switched to fretsonfire. i added a mod to /usr/share/fretsonfire/data/mod/<filename>, and turn the mod on. but when i re-run it, it gives me this error message:
File "/usr/share/fretsonfire/bin/Svg.py", line 568, in __init__
    raise RuntimeError(e)
RuntimeError: Unable to load texture for ../data/mods/halo/star1.svg.
and it doesnt start
any ideas? thanks in advance guys
by the way, if u want the mod version, are u supposed to install fretsonfire and then the mod?

Is the mod version for the version of frets on fire that you have? I though I saw that svg support had been dropped..
I use the modded version from the AUR personally.
