Changing the alsa device? [Solved]

I finished my first Arch install last night, and I-m having a peculiar problem.
I cant get sound working and when I use alsamixer from the console the device is set to pcsp, which is odd because i use HDA nvidia, which pop ups when I use the sound control from Gnome. I think its recognized, but not set as default. Any ideas????

You should tell Archlinux not to load the module for this pcsp (which stands for pc speaker). Do this by adding MODULES=(!snd_pcsp ...) into the MODULES line in the rc.conf, do a restart and everything should be fine smile
