Stuck in Abuse

Hi all,

I'm stuck in Abuse, I'm using the standard levels atm.  I've got as far as the image below:

I'm at the bottom of a long shaft which has many of the blue turrets either side.  When I press the button many aliens come from the right wall and the turrets start firing in sequence.  There seems no where else to go but back up the shaft.

The only way up seems to be to jump on the turrets but once you press the button you have only a short time before they start firing.  I can't see any way to avoid the turrets as you go up and you can't blow them up as you need them to jump on!  Even done very well I only get about half way up before the turrets start chewing me up.

I've tried blowing the turrets up but many nasty aliens come in a you-shouldnt've-done-that way .  I've managed to kill the aliens but there doesn't seem anywhere to go and no way back up without the turrets.

Please help!

It's been a while since I played abuse and last time I did play it I managed to finish it. I Remember that this section was a bit tricky and I had to practice for a while before I managed to get through it. You are supposed to jump from turret to turret and this is also supposed to be done pretty fast, which means that you don't have time to kill any enemies or make any mistakes during a jump.

I did it!  Woot!  Haha, that was tough, didn't quite make it in time but survived the first barage from the turrets and got to the top before the second.
