Logitech Communicate STX No longer functions

When attempting to use my webcam with cheese or any other program, I get the error that no webcam / video capture device is detected. dmesg shows output when I plug it in via USB:

usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3

Oddly enough, lsusb doesn't show it:
