Intel 4500MHD / GM45 on Dell E5400

The latest update to the xf86-video-intel driver makes it possible to render 3d graphics, but it doesn't enable any shaders... it's supposed to be compatible with 4.0

is this an issue with the driver (read: Intel...) or do I have to enable something?
