Hi all,
Last night I installed the nVidia legacy drivers for my card, GeForce FX 5600, using the nvidia-173xx drivers. Now since I have done that my font rendering is pants
I have set my fonts to DejaVu Sans 10, but all the fonts look like I am using the courier fonts, no matter what I set the fonts to it all looks like courier. Is this a known problem with the nVidia driver?

Hello EmyrB,
I'm also using 173.14.12 with my FX5200 and everything work fine...
Can you provide the screen shot?

I believe I have a similar problem with the new/beta 96.43.09 drivers.

I hope a picture is worth a thousand words?
As you can see, the Applications, Places and System menu titles all look like courier, but before I installed the nVidia 173xx driver they were render correctly.

Ok, so in the thread on nvidia forum says that the bug will be fixed for the next release. Now we wait.
EDIT: Solved the problem by enabling antialiasing and subpixel hinting in control center of kdemod3! It all works, finally.
