I hope you can get it working, but hv3-alpha16 seems to be incompatible with Arch's sqlite3 package, despite the patch applied in http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6217. That's why it's been orphaned/broken for so long, but again good luck in your efforts.

I don't get an error relating with sqlite, It just segfaults. I've contacted the developer.

Not sure why you're asking.. I already mentioned the issue and linked the "FS#6217 - SQLite3 with FTS on" bug report...
