Which tests flash speed. As I am always looking for a way to speed things up (by not buying, but tweaking), I am curious how to speed up flash performance.
At this crab test (which I do not know how reliable it is), it get the following score:
141 Crabs (136 quite soon, 141 after running for some time)
Using:
Linux thuis 2.6.27-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Nov 14 09:33:13 UTC 2008 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
Gnome 2.24.1
Firefox 3.0.4
Flash 10,0,12,36
Compiz enabled (though that does not make a difference for me)
CPU at performance (not ondemand)
AMD x2 3800 - stock
NVIDIA 7600 GT - stock (1280x1024, other resolutions same score, guess it's only CPU?)
Anyone with a different score on same hardware/setup? Or anyone with the same score on different hardware/setup? Or anyone with a different score on different hardware/setup;)?

This made me realize I'm using an outdated flash version (I have to copy it around manually)
From flash v??? to v10.0.12.36 gave an improvement of 116 -> 160!

296 crabs here on Arch64 w/ native flash.
I should say that the system has 8-CPUs and two GTX280s and 8GB of RAM. I'm using Firefox and GNOME w/o compiz or the like. I'll post a new result when I'm finished overclocking this beast.
edit: I scored 2595 on the PowerBench benchmark. That's #78 in their alltime list under the name crazyb0b.

Remember that the flash tests I know only use 1 CPU. But I'm looking forward for the results.
I bet you will do superpi and hardinfo benchmarks aswell Unfortunately all single processor benchmarks. But I guess the testsuite at Phoronix can help you out.

I usually don't benchmark. I built the machine to run CUDA apps and a few GIS applications. Just ran these benchmarks for fun since they were posted.
