where could i find...

I am a music composer, and i would like to give back to the FOSS community by providing music for open source applications...

Does anyone know where i could go to find someone that is looking for a composer for their developing game or other application?

I have not much of an idea where you should go, but...

why not pick an application/game you like and contact them directly saying 'I can do 'this' for you which will make your application/game that much more awesome'. I suppose most upstream maintainers would love to get such an offer.
