GTK, CUPS and Printing [SOLVED]

I want my printer to print A4 rather than Letter.
CUPS has A4 set, but whenever I use an app like firefox or leafpad, no paper size option is available, but I know it is Letter size.
The two things these apps have in common is gtk+, which is used to show the prinitng window, although it does use libgssapi.so.
Is there an rc file or something that will let me default it to Letter instead of A4?

In Most Applications you can set the page size in: File > Page Setup.
