Xorg upgrade-- couple things kb/mouse things

I completed the upgrade and the only error I got was that this line in xorg.conf was no good:

#    RgbPath         "/usr/share/X11/rgb"

So removed it, and everything works, except:

1. Back/forward using the side buttons (MX-518 mouse) as I always have does not work in Opera (all is well in Firefox).
2. I have a logitech 350 internet keyboard (http://www.informatiquement.com/logitech350.png). The extra keys (silver ones) at the top, only the calculator and play/pause ones work (bound to gnome-calculator and sonata pp respectively). It's strange, the prev/next/stop keys bring up Amarok but I haven't used Amarok in a very long time and don't anymore.
