[solved] wine fonts totally messed up

is it a wine, font, xorg and/or other problem?

SOLVED:
create text file (stuff.txt) with following entry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\X11 Driver]
"ClientSideWithRender"="N"

then run

regedit stuff.txt

thne it should work (at least for me).
for some people it does not work. look at thread below.
