e17 startup script

I've been trying to make a .desktop file to start trayer with e17 for a while without any luck.  This is what I have so far.  I have a script with the command and options.  What else do I need?

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=1.0
Name=trayer
Comment=system tray
Exec=/home/sinister99/scripts/trayer
Terminal=false
Type=Application

Re: e17 startup script

The desktop file looks fine. The only thing that I can think of is that your script isn't executable.

The script is executable, and I tried plugging a program into the .desktop file anyways, and it didn't work.  I copied the file to /usr/share/applications and added it to startup programs with the settings module, and it worked.  So the desktop file was valid, e just isn't looking in the startup directory for it for some reason.
