Hi, after last upgrade (when I encountered also couple of problems with xorg ) I found that my virtual terminals (1-6) doesnt provide login, they are just black, only on the first one I can see init scripts.
There are no agetty processes running; but I can manualy launch as root (from within Xserver)
agetty -8 38400 vc/4 linuxand it provides login on given screen. Inittab has not been changed (never).
I know I can put agetty commands in any init script (rc.local and so on) and have it working again, but I would like to fix it properly.

Fixed. My fault, no relation to upgrade. I just put a script (that is supposed to run all the time the computer is on) into rc.local, and did not put & at the end of line, result was, that rc.local and rc.multi did not finished and subsequently init did not proceeded with inittab and did not launch agetty processes and logins on vc were not created.
I at least learned something new.
