intel x3100

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Arch. I have just  iinstalled it on a dell laptop without any problems. The second install was on my acer aspire 5315. I have xfce running with xorg and gdm, but i only can use the vesa driver for my card. When i do hwd -xa it generates a xorg.conf with the intel driver, but when i try to get x running it won't work. I get the message xorg was'nt configured correctly. Does somebody have a idea how to solve this little problem.

Re: intel x3100

Still a bit strange that hwd -xa does generate a inter xorg.conf without the xf86-intel driver.

Re: intel x3100

Please use Xorg -configure to do automated xorg.conf generation!
