About a week ago, I did a sudo pacman -Syu, as I do every once in a while.
The next time I booted, my keyboard and mouse were not doing anything after I start X. My keyboard still works at the command line, before I start X.
So I decided I'd mess with it again today. I deleted my old xorg.conf and generated a new one, and it didn't fix anything.
I'm just wondering what could be wrong. My keyboard works normally at the command line, but when I start up X, both my keyboard AND mouse stop working? I really don't know what to attribute it to, or how I'd go about fixing it. And so, here I am.
I'm using a laptop - a Dell Precision M90. I'm not using an external mouse, I'm just using the default synaptics touchpad.
Any ideas as to what's causing my problems? If so, I'd like to hear em.
Thanks,
beem0r
EDIT:
Not as big of an issue, but has the name of the PC Speaker module changed? I have it disabled in rc.conf, but it isn't actually disabled. IIRC, I have !pcspkr set in modules, which used to work for me a while back, but it doesn't work anymore.
EDIT 2:
Looks like my main problem might have to do with some sort of hotplugging update on Xorg. Looking into it.

I don't mean to be rude, but there's at least 20 identical threads to this one. Yes, it has to do with hot-plugging. You can disable it, or install xf86-input-evdev.
