konqueror fails to browse the internet : "Error loading 'kio_http'."

hello there,

i can no longer use konqueror to browse the internet, it fails with the following error (stripped):

Cannot Initiate the http Protocol
Additional Information: Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_http'.

what's wrong with this kio_http thing??

Make sure to have kdebase-runtime-4.1.3-2 installed. (just run pacman -Syu)

kde updates containing kio_http usally need an update of heimdal too... if you are using kde from extra this should be sorted already... kdemod hasnt been updated to use the latest heimdal package tho... in that case ask in kdemod forums

kio_http is acting up in ktorrrent and konqueror too. I'm using the latest stable KDEmod/heimdal on x86_64... guess I'll go look around their forums some.

Edit: Apparently it's caused by heimdal 1.2.1, which was in testing until recently. Until KDEmod recompiles (I think it's underway already), I think we're out of luck.

Expect new packages soon, currently building...

That was yesterday, so hopefully things will be fixed soon.
