Wine + CS:S Problem

Hi, I've installed Steam and CS:S through wine and Steam seems to be working fine but when I launch CS:S, nothing happens. The "Preparing to launch" window pops up for a few seconds but the actual game never does. Anyone have any ideas? I know this isn't much specific info but I'm not sure what exactly would help so just tell me if you need it .

Try to start it from the console and see if you get that error message.

for steam and css you have to disable steam community in game, also run it with dxlevel 80 or 81, did you follow the appdb page frome wine homepage?
