New X.org, NVIDIA, bad redrawing of Full Screen application
Hi,
since the x.org update, full-screen apps (openttd, viewing presentation in okular) redraws badly on my systems (NVIDIA 5700, 7600, Arch 32bit/64bit, KDEmod 4.1.3, compositing on. The turned on compositing seems to be a problem, though using old xorg a clearly remember running the presentation smoothly with no problems even with compositing on, the same for openttd.
Does anyone know how to solve it without switching off KDE4 compositing? I find it usefull cause of darkening inactive windows, oppacity and "expose" effect.

try to disable or to enable some stuff, restart X and see what happens.
if there is a problem have a look at the log.
also do a forum or google search on the error messages. in most cases you should find something.
