Arch for sparc?

Hi! Just wondering if anyone would interested on arch on the sparc. I don't plan to do a port as i do not have any sparc systems or the time since it would kinda hard to maintain 2 ports at once. Just wanted to see if anyone would use it if there was such a thing.

Re: Arch for sparc?

I would use it if I had a sparc.

However, I would prefer a port for the MIPS architecture since I have a SGI Indy.  I was supposed to install Gentoo on it but I haven't had the time yet...

Re: Arch for sparc?

I would use it and I have UltraSPARC 5 workstation with 333Mhz UltraSPARC IIi CPU...
In fact I have started to try to get archlinux on it - don't know yet how far I will get with this ...

Re: Arch for sparc?

Only about four years after the question was asked....

There is absolutely no need to bump old threads like this.

Why not bump an old thread? What if it was an unsolved question, and somebody posted the answer? Better late than never, I suppose...
In either case, if there is such a rule for not bumping old threads, the forum should have a trigger that would block further posting in threads with XYZ time of innactivity. Lots of foruns have that option, this one should probably have it too.

Because most probably what was a problem or issue 4 years ago isn't likely to be one now. Packages are upgraded all the time, things changes. If there is no answer then either the OP found a solution by himself or is no longer using Arch. So answering is pointless.

I don't think there's an admin option to do that.
