Hi, I was wondering what the pop server was. The reason I am asking is because I want to use AMSN to check to see if I have any messages. I tried pop.gmail.com and port 995 but that didn't seem to work.
EDIT: I found those settings off the gmail help center. I realize that this might be from a completely different server.

incoming mail server (POP3): pop.gmail.com and port 995 are correct, more than likely, you didn't enter your username and password correctly.
the username is your USERNAME@archlinux.us (you have to put in your FULL email address) and your password, is your password of course. You must also enable "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail."
Edit: It IS possible that MSN doesn't allow a pop connection to gmail......... wouldn't suprise me a bit...... don't know for sure though.

The pop client for AMSN was not allowing me to connect. I don't think it supports encryption. Fortunately there is another plugin called gnotify that will notify you of e-mails in your gmail account. Unfortunately that one is telling me incorrect username/password. I must be doing something wrong.... I am using username@archlinux.us and the same password I use to login. This is probably something stupid that is just eluding me at the moment. I'll figure it out.

I would like one, too, please!
I noticed the offer a while back, and refrained from requesting an email, but after thinking it over, I would like one. It would go rather nicely with my @revolutioni.st email address. (Friend from High School gave it to me)
Thank you for the generous offer crous
LeoS would be appreciated.
I keep getting distracted from my webserver project...
huh? oooh... shiny!

I'd like one too if possible.
Preferably namegame@archlinux.us
If that's not available name_game@archlinux.us
otherwise, just message me.
Forum mail will work for contacting me about login credentials.
Thanks.

Ohhh neat! Thanks!
I can't wait to show off by confusing all of my Windows friends. when I finally switch off my hotmail account. (It's ancient, I have two of them, but one is about 15 years old, give or take. It was my first email address.)
