[plasma] plasma crash with compiz-fusion

Hello,

I use compiz-fusion and I have a problem of crash (black screen) of the plasma workplace when I switch for the first time the cube face after login in KDE4.

I got the following message:
A Fatal Error Occurred
The application Plasma Workspace (plasma) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
Please help us improve the software you use by filing a report at http://bugs.kde.org. Useful details include how to reproduce the error, documents that were loaded, etc.

Here is the snapshot of the popup window error:

For the configuration, I slightly modified the second method of the wiki page http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Compiz_Fusion  (method in which KDEWM is exported in order to avoid KWIN)

I used /home/manu/bin/compiz-fusion instead of /usr/bin/compiz-fusion which content is:

$more /home/manu/bin/compiz-fusion
compiz --replace ccp --sm-disable &

and in ~/.bashrc, I added the following line:
export KDEWM="/home/manu/bin/compiz-fusion"

I was expecting that plasma wouldn't launch but obviously Plasma is launched and crash!

How about any idea to solve this issue?

Is there someone having a similar problem?

Nobody is using compiz-fusion with kde? Too bad!

I use compiz-fusion with kde 4.1 and never had problems with it. What's more i start it even in similar way as u are.

I would try the typical actions to try to solve the problem. Rename/Delete your ~/.kde4 and you might also want to try to the same with ~/.config/compiz.

And the status is RESOLVED, but i didnt find any "how to fix".

I couldn't find  a solution. I'm now using fluxbox without 3D effects... Back to old times! At leat fluxbox does not crash and is quite fast!!
