[Solved]Slim : can't login

Hello all,

Yesterday I had everything running with the xfce DE, openbox WM and slim as a login manager. The problems started when I decided to go to openbox as a standalone.
I got rid of everything (xfce, openbox, slim) with pacman -Rs.
Then I installed openbox back and slim.
Right now the problem is that I can't type anything in the slim login screen. Keyboard doesn't respond, mouse neither. I can not even do alt-F2 to open anoter virtual console to fix things.
How can I access a console, and I can I fix this ?

thank you.

Re: [Solved]Slim : can't login

It's probably got to do with the new xorg.

Check what allan posted here to get into console smile
