Graphics issue after arch install. Screenshot attached [Solved]

I just did a clean install of arch with gnome and im having a graphics issue. Not sure how to describe it, so I attached a screenshot. Graphics card is a nvidia 8400 btw.

Anyone have any ideas? This also happens in firefox during page loading. When I load a new page, it still keeps a large chunk of the old page visible until I click on it.

This was caused by the 177. nvidia drivers. Installing the older 173 drivers fixed the issue for now.
