Bump for help, please
You need to update your system: pacman -Syu

I have, several times already.

Do you have: openssh 5.1p1-2 ? That version should work.
EDIT: BTW, although your lib32-heimdal is out-of-date, it shouldn't affect your openssh package as openssh use heimdal.
EDIT2: Did you ever symlink libraries like rfer did? If yes, that might be the cause of the problem.

No, I never symlinked libraries for more than a few seconds as a test. Thanks, though.
The problem is solved now
I was using openssh-lpk from the AUR (yeah, I'm an idiot for not saying that in the first place, apologies, I didn't think that was the problem as it had been working, etc.), and I removed it and deleted the leftover config files, then installed openssh official... works good now.

I have the exact same problem now. It must be recent, because I upgraded this morning and mplayer still worked. But when I upgraded at noon today mplayer stopped working. Pacman -Qs gives me this:
mplayer 1.0rc2-9
heimdal 1.2.1-2

I have the exact same problem as sokuban. I updated a lot between the time this topic was opened and just now. The update right before it stopped working included hdparm-9.3-1 libpng-1.2.34-1 tdb-3.2.6-1 smbclient-3.2.6-1 tar-1.20-3, something here must be at fault.^^
edit: Well, downgrading smbclient and tbd helps. Not ideal though.

Samba is affected, too... and this is a more serious problem.
I opened a bug report here, but I submit it before setting the priority to a higher level than "Low". The report can be found here:

There was an update for samba and now samba works fine.
Mplayer also works fine. I have no clue why, because I don't think I saw an mplayer update. (Maybe there was. I was pacman -Syuing like every 15min.)

Just ran into this as well ![]()
/media/stuff > mplayer
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libhx509.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryOffline
I had the same errors.
Solved it by removing a stray libhx from AUR (not sure if this was necessary)
Cleaning my package cache (not sure if necessary)
and reinstalling mplayer and heimdal.
Using 'yaourt':
yaourt -R libhx
yaourt -Scc
yaourt -S mplayer heimdalOffline
This thread confuses me.
Anyway, I am on i686, and it does look like mplayer have some problems with libhx, so I made a bug report :

pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))

Update to samba/smbclient-3.2.6-2 and that should fix this.

Oh indeed, I hadn't received that update yet. Now all is fine.
And since the problem still existed here, I didn't look for closed bug reports so I didn't find the existing ones ![]()
