hi to everyone
i have a question
i have a macbook and with mac os x i can power off the wireless card (an atheros.....)
now i have installed the latest arch so i have a dual boot (ps for the guide in /wiki/)
so my question is:
we can power off wireless card from arch so we can save battery ????
other to wireless card in mac os x we can power off bluetooth too .....in arch ???

It depends on the hardware...
ifconfig wlan0 down
iwconfig wlan0 power ??? (have a look in the man page)
For most, simply rmmod'ing the driver should work.
